What we do

Four practices, one engagement team

Every mandate is led by a partner and staffed to the work. These are the disciplines Malaysian boards and management teams retain us for.

Strategy & Corporate Finance

Growth strategy, portfolio choices and the numbers behind the decision.

Corporate and business-unit strategy, market entry, M&A and partnership evaluation, and the financial modelling that lets a board commit with confidence. We work from your data, not a template.

Operations & Performance

Operating models, cost transformation and the discipline to hold the gains.

Target operating model design, procurement and cost optimisation, supply-chain and service redesign, and a performance-management rhythm so the improvement survives the report.

Explore operations

Digital & Technology

Technology strategy and a digital operating model your teams can actually run.

Technology and data strategy, core-system and ERP roadmaps, digital operating model design, and vendor-neutral selection support — grounded in what your organisation can absorb.

People & Change

Organisation design and change management that lands with the frontline.

Organisation and role design, workforce planning, change and communications, and leadership alignment — so a new structure or system is adopted, not just announced.

How we work

What a first engagement looks like

No lengthy onboarding, no junior hand-offs. A partner owns the relationship from the first call to the review that follows delivery.

  1. 01

    Discovery call

A confidential conversation to understand the business, the pressure and the outcome you need. No charge, no obligation.

  2. 02

    Framing & proposal

We shape the question, agree the scope and name the team — with a fixed fee and timeline quoted up front.

  3. 03

    Diagnostic

Two to four weeks of analysis: your data, interviews and benchmarks, ending in a clear read of where the value is.

  4. 04

    Options & recommendation

Plain-language findings and a small number of real options — with the trade-offs, the numbers and what we would do.

  5. 05

    Delivery & handover

We work alongside your team to implement, build the internal capability, then step back. Most clients keep us on call.

In their words

The clients who keep us on call

Anchorpoint reframed a debate our board had been circling for a year. The options were sharp, the numbers held up, and we moved within the quarter.

Lim Cheng Hoe

Group Managing Director, Horizon Foods Berhad · Petaling Jaya

They redesigned our operating model and then stayed to make it stick. Eighteen months on the cost base is down and the rhythm they built is still running.

Sarah Abdullah

Chief Operating Officer, Klang Valley Logistics · Shah Alam

Vendor-neutral, commercially minded and genuinely good with our people. The technology roadmap was the first one our engineers actually believed in.

Datuk Rajendran M.

Board Member, a Bursa Main Market group · Kuala Lumpur

A family business is a delicate thing to restructure. They handled the succession with patience and discretion, and kept the peace at the table.

Haji Zulkifli Osman

Founder, Zul Group · Ipoh

Responsive and precise. They think like owners, not just consultants, and they told us the parts we did not want to hear.

Priya Nair

Chief Executive, Nexa Digital · Cyberjaya

The change programme was the difference between a system that was installed and one that is used. Our frontline was brought along, not bulldozed.

Wong Mei Ling

Group HR Director, Seri Bina Construction · Kuala Lumpur

The people you retain

Partners, not proposals

Before you call

Fees, engagement and confidentiality

01How are your fees structured?

For a defined piece of work — a diagnostic, a strategy, an operating-model design — we quote a fixed fee and timeline up front in the proposal. For ongoing advisory we agree a monthly retainer. You will never receive an invoice you did not expect.

02Is the first consultation really free?

Yes. The discovery call is a confidential, no-obligation conversation so both sides can decide whether we are the right firm for the work. A proposal follows only once the scope is clear.

03How do you handle confidentiality?

Every consultant is bound by our confidentiality policy, and we sign a mutual NDA on request. Your data, your board papers and the fact of our engagement are treated as privileged.

04How long does a typical engagement run?

A diagnostic is two to four weeks. A full strategy or transformation design is usually eight to sixteen weeks, followed by an implementation phase sized to the change.

05Do you only work in Kuala Lumpur?

We serve clients nationwide from our KL office, and much of the work happens on site with your team. Interviews, workshops and steering sessions run wherever your people are.

06Do you implement, or just advise?

Both. We stay through delivery, work alongside your team and build the internal capability so the change holds after we step back — that is the point.
